先日、今までとは異なったテイストのヴィジュアルを打ち出したばかりのSick.。
これまでもまるで短編映画を思わせるようなMVを世に出してきたが、最新作の「PhAntom.」はそれを更に上回る壮大さ、綿密に作り込まれたストーリー性を兼ね備えた作品になっている。

仮面の狂信者集団、奇怪な宗教儀式、彼らの作り出す現実離れした世界観についつい引き込まれてしまう。
ストーリーの鍵を握る「白」と「黒」の激しい戦闘シーンも見応えがあり、注目すべきポイントの一つだ。
わざとなのだろうか？前作の「Lux.」に引き続き謎が多く、受け手の解釈に委ねるストーリー構成になっており、一度では足らず思わず「もう一度、もう一度」と繰り返し見てしてしまう。本当に意地悪なバンドだ。
楽曲のクオリティは言うまでもないだろう。

11月に始動1周年を迎える彼らは、9月4日に新宿MARZにて1st ONE MAN LIVE【PANDEMIC.】を開催、3rd Mini Album「PhAntom.」の先行発売を行う。

New mini album by “Sick.” titled “PhAntom.”is to be released at the beginning of September,
they uploaded music video for the title track and trailer for the mini album.
At the beginning of August, they surprised us by showing off new look quite different from previous ones.
Like that, their new music video did not let us down.
When we watch their music videos including past works, we feel like watching a short film.
This is true of new video for “PhAntom.”; no, in fact, it is superior to them in so far as the composition of the story is so tight.
You might be completely drawn into their strange world consists of religious fanatics and strange ritual, and so on.
Intense battle scene between “light” and “darkness” is also one of key points of the video.
Like their previous work:”Lux”, the story remains many questions and is open to interpretation.
Therefore, we cannot help playing again.
If they planned this on purpose, they are such a meanie!
Needless to say, their 3rd mini album is coming out with great songs.

They also released live music video of “Overkill.” recorded in their 2nd mini album.
It lets us feel the atmosphere of their concert.

Each songs has its appeal.
